علي بن يعقوب بن عيسى. حدثني الحسن بن محمد الخلال، قال: حدثنا يوسف بن عمر القواسقال: حدثنا علي بن يعقوب بن عيسى إملاء من حفظه، قال: حدثني أبو صالح الهيثم بن خالد، وراق الفضل بن دكين، عن الفضل بن دكين، عن الأعمش، عن أبي صالح، قال: رأيت علي بن أبي طالب قاعدا في زرارة تحت السدرة، وانحدرت سفينة فقرأ: (وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالأَعْلَامِ) والذي أجراها مجراها ما قتلت عثمان، ولا شايعت في قتله، ولا مالأت ولقد غمني. قال لي الخلال: لم يكن عند علي بن يعقوب غير هذا الحديث.
