    علي بن مالك بن يزيد العطار المخرمي. حَدَّثَ عن الحكم بن موسى، ومُحَمد بن بشار بندار، وعبد العزيز بن منيب المروزي، ومُحَمد بن أحمد بن صالح الإصطخري. رَوَى عنه محمد بن خلف وكيع، ومُحَمد بن مخلد، ومُحَمد بن عبد الملك التاريخي. أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الواحد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن العباس، قال: قرئ على ابن المنادي وأنا أسمع، قال: ومات من ناحيتنا علي بن مالك العطار لأربع خلون من شعبان سنة تسع وسبعين، كان صالح المعرفة بالحديث. ٦٥٠٥ -
