علي بن الحسين أبو الحسن البزاز من أهل سر من رأى. حَدَّثَ عن سعيد بن سلام العطار، ومُحَمد بن الطفيل الكوفي. رَوَى عنه خيثمة بن سليمان الأطرابلسي. أخبرنا أبو محمد عبد الرحمن بن عثمان الدمشقي في كتابه إلينا، قال: أخبرنا خيثمة بن سليمان القرشي، قال: أخبرنا علي بن الحسين أبو الحسن البزاز بسر من رأى، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن سلام، قال: حدثنا عبيد الله بن أبي حميد، عن أبي المليح، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: اعتموا تزدادوا حلما. ٦٢٢٦ -
