علي بن الحسن بن أحمد، أبو الحسن الجصاص. حَدَّثَ عن محمد بن محمد بن سليمان الباغندي. رَوَى عنه أبو القاسم بن الثلاج. قال محمد بن أبي الفوارس مولده سنة تسعين ومائتين، وتوفي يوم الجمعة لليلة خلت من شهر ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وستين وثلاثمِائَة قال: وكان مخلطا يدعي أشياء، منها كتاب الزَّجَّاج، ومعاني القرآن لقطرب، وكان في مذهبه شيء. ٦٢١٠ -
