عثمان بن عبدويه بن عمرو أبو عمرو البزاز الكبشي. سمع علي بن شعيب السمسار، وعلي بن سهل البزاز، وعبد الله بن أبي سعد الوراق، ومُحَمد بن عبيد الله بن المنادي، والحسن بن علي بن عفان العامري، وعبد الرحمن بن محمد بن منصور الحارثي، وكثير بن شهاب القزويني، وإبراهيم الحربي. رَوَى عنه أبو بكر بن أبي موسى القاضي، وأحمد بن الفرج بن الحجاج،والحسن بن علي بن أحمد بن عون الحريري، وغيرهم، وكان ثقة. أخبرنا العتيقي، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن أحمد بن عون الحريري، قال: مات عثمان بن عبدويه بن عمرو يوم الأربعاء غرة شهر رمضان سنة ثمان وعشرين وثلاثمِائَة، ودفن من يومه. ٦٠٣٦ -
