عثمان بن محمد بن عثمان أبو عمرو الحراني. قَدِمَ بغداد، وحدث بها عن الوليد بن عبد الملك بن مُسَرَّح الحراني. رَوَى عنه القاضي أبو عبد الله المحاملي، وعبد الباقي بن قانع. أخبرنا محمد بن الحسين بن الفضل القطان، قال: أخبرنا عبد الباقي بن قانع القاضي، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن محمد بن عثمان الحراني، قال: حدثنا الوليد بن عبد الملك بن مسرح، قال: حدثنا مخلد بن يزيد، قال: حدثنا مسعر، عن عون بن أبي جحيفة، عن أبيه، قال: لما قدم جعفر بن أبي طالب من أرض الحبشة قام إليه النبي ﷺ فقبل بين عينيه. ٦٠١٨ -
