عمر بن أحمد بن أبي اليمان أبو بكر، وقيل: أبو حفص التمار. من أهل الجانب الشرقي. حَدَّثَ عن أحمد بن الوليد الفحام، والفضل بن الحسن الأهوازي. رَوَى عنه أبو القاسم ابن الثلاج فكناه أبا بكر، وأحمدابن الفرج بن الحجاج، وكناه أبا حفص. قرأت في كتاب موسى بن محمد بن عتاب: مات أبو بكر عمر بن أبي اليمان يوم الجمعة، ودفن يوم الجمعة لليلتين بقيتا من شعبان سنة تسع وعشرين وثلاثمِائَة. ٥٩٢٣ -
