عبد الملك بن محمد بن محمد بن سلمان بن جعفر أبو محمد العطار. سمع محمد بن إبراهيم بن حمدان العاقولي، وأبا الحسن بن لؤلؤ، ومُحَمد بن المظفر، وعبد العزيز بن أبي صابر الدلال، وأبا بكر الأبهري. كتبت عنه، وكان صدوقا. أخبرني ابن سلمان العطار، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن المظفر الحافظ، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن زيدان، قال: حدثنا محمد بن طريف، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن بشير، عن مسعر، عن غالب القطان، عن رجل من بني تميم، عن أبيه، عن جده، قال: بعثني أبي إلى رسول الله ﷺ أقرئه السلام، فقال: وعليك وعلى أبيك السلام. مات ابن سلمان في يوم السبت سابع ذي الحجة من سنة ثمان وأربعين وأربعمائة. ٥٥٥٢ -
