عبيد الله بن جعفر بن محمد أبو علي المعروف بابن الرازي جار أبي بكر بن أبي الثلج.سمع عباس بن محمد الدوري، وإبراهيم بن نصر الكندي، والحسن بن علي بن عفان العامري، والحسين بن فهم. رَوَى عنه سعد بن محمد الصيرفي، وأبو الحسين ابن البواب، ومُحَمد بن عبيد الله بن الشخير، وأبو العباس بن مكرم، وابن الثلاج، وكان ثقة. أخبرنا السمسار، قال: أخبرنا الصفار، قال: حدثنا ابن قانع أن أبا علي ابن الرازي صاحب حسين بن فهم مات في سنة إحدى وعشرين وثلاثمائة. ٥٤٥١ -
