    عبد الله بن يوسف بن أحمد بن بابويه، وقيل: مامويه، الأصبهاني، ساكن نيسابور، أبو محمد. قدم بغداد حاجا في سنة تسعين وثلاثمائة، وحدث بها عن أبيالعباس الأصم، ومُحَمد بن الحسن بن الخليل النيسابوريين، وأبي سعيد ابن الأعرابي ساكن مكة، وأحمد بن سعيد بن فرضخ الإخميمي، وهارون بن أحمد الإستراباذي، وعبد الرحمن بن يحيى بن هارون الزهري، وجماعة غيرهم من الغرباء. كتب الناس عنه بانتخاب محمد بن أبي الفوارس، وحدثنا عنه أبو محمد الخلال، وأبو الحسن العتيقي. وكان ثقة، مات بعد سنة أربعمائة بسنين كثيرة. ٥٢٩٧ -
