    ٢١٧ - عبد اللَّه بن مروان بن محمد بن مروان البلنسي (٤). قاضيها أبو الحسن، سمع من أبي علي الصدفي. وأجازه وأخاه أبو الوليدالوقشي وأبو مروان بن سراج. ولي القضاء ببلده عام عشرين وخمسمائة بعد وفاة ابن واجب وأقام عشرين سنة قويم الطريقة صلبًا في الحق جدلًا نافذًا في الأحكام بصيرًا بها، صادق الفراسة، له فيها أخبار، من بيت نباهة ورئاسة، توفي مصروفًا عن القضاء في رجب سنة خمس وثلاثين وخمسمائة. صح مع ابن الأبار.

    عبد الله بن مروان بن محمد بن مروان بن الحكم بن أبي العاص الأموي. ذكر أحمد بن محمد بن حميد الجهمي في كتاب النسب أن أباه كان جعله ولي عهده في الخلافة، فلما قتل مروان خرج عبد الله إلى أرض النوبة فأقام بها مدة، ثم رجع إلى الشام مستخفيا، فأخذ في أيام المهدي وحمل إليه، فحبسه ببغداد حتى مات في الحبس. ٥٢٥٥ -
