    عبد الله بن أبي بدر الرومي. حَدَّثَ عَن الوليد بن مسلم، ويحيى بن يمان، ووكيع، ويزيد بن هارون، وروح بن عبادة، وكثير بن هشام، وزيد بن الحباب، وغيرهم. رَوَى عنه عباس بن محمد الدوري، وأبو بكر بن أبي الدنيا. أخبرنا عَلي بن مُحمد بن عبد الله المعدل، قال: أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن جعفر الجوري، قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي الدنيا، قال: حدثني عبد الله بن أبي بدر، قال: أخبرنا وكيع، عن الأعمش، عن إبراهيم، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد قال: كانت لنا جارية أعجمية فحضرتها الوفاة، فجعلت تقول فلان تمرغ في الحمأة، فلما ماتت سألنا عن الرجل، فقالوا: ما كان به بأس إلا أنه كان يمشي بالنميمة. ٤٩٨٧ -
