زكريا بن يحيى بن حميد بن حماد النهرواني، والد القاضي أبي الفرج المعافى بن زكريا المعروف بابن طرارا. حَدَّثَ عن أحمد بن علي البربهاري، وأحمد بن يحيى الحلواني، ومُحَمد بن عثمان بن أبي شيبة، وأحمد بن محمد بن منصور الحاسب. رَوَى عنه ابنه المعافى.
