    حصين بن محمد الصيرفي. حَدَّثَ عن أبي حامد محمد بن هارون الحضرمي. حدثنا عنه البرقاني. أخبرنا البرقاني، قال: قرئ على أبي الحسن الدارقطني وأنا أسمع. وقرأنا على الحصين بن محمد الصيرفي ببغداد: حدثكم محمد بن هارون الحضرمي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عثمان بن أبي صفوان، قال: حدثنا أمية بن خالد، قال: حدثنا شعبة، عن أبي إسحاق، عن أبي عبيدة، عن عبد الله قال: أتيت رسول الله ﷺ فقلت: يا رسول الله، قد قتل الله أبا جهل، قال: الحمد لله الذي أعز دينه، ونصر عبده. قال البرقاني: قال لنا الدارقطني: هذا حديث غريب معروف برواية أمية بن خالد، وتابعه عمرو بن حكام عن شعبة.
