    حبيب بن خلف، أبو محمد، يعرف بصاحب البخاري. حَدَّثَ عن شيبان بن فروخ الأبلي، وأبي ثور إبراهيم بن خالد الكلبي. رَوَى عنه محمد بن مخلد الدوري. أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الواحد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن العباس، قال: قرئ على ابن المنادي وأنا أسمع قال: وأبو محمد حبيب البخاري أحد الصالحين، كتب الناس عنه، كان عنده كتاب أبي ثور في الفقه. مات لأربع عشرة خلت من شهر رمضان، سنة أربع وثمانين، يعني ومائتين. ٤٣٠٧ -
