حاتم بن محمد، أبو محمد البلخي. قَدِمَ بغداد، وَحَدَّث بها عن قتيبة بن سعيد البغلاني، وعبد الله بن عبد الوهاب الخوارزمي. رَوَى عنه محمد بن مخلد. أخبرني الحسن بن علي بن عبد الله المقرئ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكران بن عمران البزاز، قال: حدثنا محمد بن مخلد، قال: حدثنا حاتم بن محمد أبو محمد البلخي قال: سمعت أبا رجاء - يعني قتيبة بن سعيد - يقول: لولا الثوري لمات الورع. ٤٣٠١ -
