الحكم بن الصلت الأعور المؤذن، من أهل مدينة رسول الله ﷺ. سمع أباه، وكان أبوه يحدث عن أبي هريرة. وسمع أيضا عبد الملك بن المغيرة، ومُحَمد بن عبد الله بن مطيع، ويزيد بن شريك الفزاري. رَوَى عنه خالد بن مخلد القطواني، ومُحَمد بن صدقة المديني، وعبد الله بن مسلمة القعنبي، والهيثم بن جميل.أخبرني عبد الله بن يحيى السكري، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله الشافعي، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن الأزهر، قال: حدثنا ابن الغلابي، قال: سألت يحيى بن معين عن شيخ حدثنا عنه الهيثم بن جميل يقال له: الحكم بن الصلت؟ فقال: مديني قدم بغداد. ٤٢٨٧ -
