الحسين بن علي الأدمي.أحسبه من أهل البصرة، حدث ببغداد عن روح بن عبادة، روى عنه يحيى بن صاعد. أخبرني الحسن بن علي بن عبد الله المقرئ قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن المخلص قال: حدثنا يحيى بن محمد بن صاعد قال: حدثنا الحسين بن علي الأدمي ببغداد في درب أبي عون سنة ثمان وأربعين ومائتين قال: حدثنا روح بن عبادة قال: حدثنا ابن جريج، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر أنه سئل عن الورود. هذا القدر من الحديث ذكر، ولم يزد عليه. ٤٠٩٥ -
