إسحاق بن الربيع بن نوح، مولى بني ضبة قاضي المدائن.حَدَّثَ عن عمرو بن ثابت النكري. رَوَى عنه المفضل بن غسان الغلابي. أخبرني عبد الله بن يحيى السكري، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن إبراهيم الشافعي، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن الأزهر، قال: حدثنا ابن الغلابي، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن الربيع الضبي، قاض كان بالمدائن، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن ثابت النكري، عن أبيه قال: ما كان سعيد بن جبير من الرائين. قلت: أحسبه يعني من الظاهري الخشوع، بل كان يخفي حاله خوفا من دخول الرياء في عمله، والله أعلم. ٣٣٢١ -
