إبراهيم بن سهل المدائني الكاتب. حدث عن عمرو بن حميد قاضي الدينور، وأحمد بن معاوية بن بكر البصري. رَوَى عنه أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الله الجوهري. أخبرنا الصيمري، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عمران المرزباني، قال: حدثني أحمد بن محمد الجوهري، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن سهل المدائني، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن معاوية الباهلي، قال: حدثني العتبي، عن محمد بن واسع، قال: قال لي الحسن: لم يبق من العيش إلا ثلاث، أخ لك تصيب من عشرته خيرا، فإن زغت عن الطريق قومك، وكفاف من عيش ليس لأحد عليك فيه تبعة، وصلاة في جميع تكفى سهوها وتستوجب أجرها. ٣٠٨٨ -
