أحمد بن العباس أبو جعفر الطيالسي أخو عبد الله بن العباس. حدث عن إسحاق بن راهويه. روى عنه أخوه عبد الله، وأظن محمد بن مخلد أيضا روى عنه، فإنه ذكره في تاريخ وفاة شيوخه الذي قرأته بخطه، فقال: سنة أربع وثمانين ومائتين، فيها مات الطيالسي أحمد بن العباس أبو جعفر، الذي كان في طاق الحراني في شهر رمضان. ٢٤١٠ -
