أحمد بن عبد الله بن شهاب، أبو العباس العكبري. سمع أحمد بن عيسى المصري، وحميد بن الربيع الكوفي، وأحمد بن ملاعب. روى عنه ابن أخيه أبو طالب إجازة، وأبو صالح محمد بن أحمد بن ثابت العكبري سماعا. أخبرني محمود بن عمر العكبري، قال: أخبرنا أبو طالب عبد الله بنمحمد بن عبد الله، قال: أخبرنا عمي أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد الله فيما أجازه لنا، أن أحمد بن عيسى المصري حدثهم، قال: حدثنا يغنم بن سالم بن قنبر، عن أنس بن مالك، عن رسول الله ﷺ، قال: خيركم من لم يترك آخرته لدنياه، ولا دنياه لآخرته، ولم يكن كلا على الناس. ٢١٨٩ -
