أحمد بن رجاء بن سعيد، أبو جعفر الفريابي. سكن بغداد وحدث بها عن محمد بن عمر الواقدي. روى عنه محمد بن مخلد الدوري. أخبرنا أبو عمر عبد الواحد بن محمد بن مهدي، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن مخلد العطار، قال: أخبرنا أحمد بن رجاء أبو جعفر الفريابي، قال: حدثنا الواقدي، قال: حدثنا أبو حزرة، عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عتيق، عن عائشة، عن النبي ﷺ، قال: لا يصلي أحدكم بحضرة الطعام، ولا وهو يعالج الأخبثين. قرأت في كتاب محمد بن مخلد بخطه: سنة خمس وستين ومائتين فيها مات أحمد بن رجاء الفريابي أبو جعفر في جمادى الآخرة. ٢٠٩٩ -
