أحمد بن بكران بن شاذان أبو العباس النخاس. حدث عن عمرو بن علي الفلاس، وأبي الأشعث أحمد بن المقدام العجلي، وعمر بن شبة النميري، وعلي بن حرب الطائي. روى عنه أبو الحسن الدارقطني، وأبو القاسم ابن الثلاج، وأحمد بن الفرج بن الحجاج.أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد العتيقي، قال: حدثني أبو الحسن أحمد بن الفرج بن منصور بن الحجاج من لفظه، قال: حدثنا أبو العباس أحمد بن بكران بن شاذان النخاس، ثقة. أخبرنا محمد بن علي بن الفتح، قال: حدثنا علي بن عمر الدارقطني، قال: حدثنا أبو العباس أحمد بن بكران بن شاذان النخاس، وكان ضعيفا. ١٩٣٩ -
