أحمد بن إسماعيل بن عمر الرواسي. أخبرنا علي بن أبي علي البصري، قال: قرأنا على الحسين بن هارونالضبي، عن أبي العباس أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد، قال: أحمد بن إسماعيل بن عمر البغدادي سمع عفان بن مسلم، ومعاوية بن عمرو، وأبا الوليد، ومسلم بن إبراهيم، وهذه الطبقة. كتب أصحابنا عنه بالكوفة. سمعت أحمد بن يحيى يقول: حدثني أحمد بن إسماعيل البغدادي الرواسي، وليس من بني رؤاس، يعني أنه كبير الرأس. ١٨٩١ -
