    محمد بن نصر بن منصور العابد. حدث عن سليمان بن حرب، وعبد الله بن عيسى الطفاوي، وبشر بنالحارث، وأحمد بن حنبل. روى عنه أبو الفضل الشكلي. أخبرنا أبو عمر الحسن بن عثمان الواعظ، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن جعفر بن حمدان، قال: حدثنا العباس بن يوسف الشكلي، قال: حدثني محمد بن نصر، قال: سمعت بشر بن الحارث وقد سمع رجلا يضحك ويقهقه، فقال له: ويلك، اتق الله، لا تموت على هذا. وقال محمد بن نصر: سمعت أبا عبد الله أحمد بن حنبل يقول: كل شيء من الخير بادر فيه. قال: وشاورته في الخروج إلى الثغر فقال لي: بادر بادر. ١٦٨٢ -
