    محمد بن منير بن صغير، أبو بكر السامري. سمع عبيد الله بن سعد الزهري، وعمر بن شبة، وشعيب بن أيوب، وإسحاق بن سيار النصيبي. روى عنه عبد الله بن عدي الجرجاني، وعمر بن عبد الله بن محمد السامري، وعمر بن نوح البجلي. وكان ثقة. أخبرنا أبو بكر البرقاني، قال: أخبرنا عمر بن نوح البجلي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن منير بن صغير، قال: حدثنا شعيب بن أيوب، قال: حدثنا معاوية بن هشام، عن سفيان، عن ابن جريج، عن عطاء، عن ابن عباس، أن رسول الله ﷺ لبى حتى رمى جمرة العقبة.قال لنا البرقاني في حديث آخر: أخبرنا عمر بن نوح، قال: حدثنا محمد بن منير بن صغير السامري، وكان من الحفاظ. قال البرقاني: وأثنى عليه جدا. ١٦٧٠ -
