    محمد بن عثمان بن عبيد أبو بكر القطان. حدث عن أحمد بن سلمان النجاد، كتبت عنه وكان ينزل بدار القطن ولم أر له أصلا أرضاه. أخبرنا محمد بن عثمان بن عبيد، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن سلمان، قال: حدثنا الحارث بن أبي أسامة التميمي، قال: حدثنا روح بن عبادة، قال: حدثنا ابن جريج، قال: أخبرني عبد الله بن مسافع أن مصعب بن شيبة أخبره عن عقبة بن محمد بن الحارث، عن عبد الله بن جعفر، عن النبي ﷺ قال: من شك في صلاته فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس.سمعت منه في صفر من سنة تسع وأربعمائة. ١٢٥٩ -
