محمد بن حمكان بن يوسف، أبو مسلم القطان الكرجي. قدم بغداد حاجا. وحدث بها عن: جعفر بن أحمد بن فارس الأصبهاني، ومحمد بن أحمد بن سليمان الهروي. روى عنه: القاضي أبو الحسن الجراحي، ومحمد بن المظفر، وذكر ابن الثلاج أنه سمع منه، وقال: غرق في دجلة يوم الخميس لست بقين من ذي الحجة سنة خمس وأربعين وثلاثمائة. ٧٤٠ -
