    ١٢٨٧ - عمر بن أبى المعالي الكيمائى الزاهد: من ساكني القطيعة بباب الأزج، قرأ شيئا من الفقه على مذهب أبى عبد الله بن حنبل على أبى حكيم النهرواني، وصحب الشيخ عبد القادر الجيلي، وكان شيخا صالحا منقطعا عن الناس مشتغلا بما يعنيه، وكانت له حلقة بجامع القصر بعد الصلاة يجتمع حوله الناس، ويتكلم عليهم بكلام مفيد، وكان له قبول من الناس، وله أصحاب واتباع وقد رأيته بالجامع مرات.توفى يوم الجمعة التاسع عشر من صفر سنة ثلاث وتسعين وخمسمائة، ودفن بمقبرة التل بالقطيعة من باب الأزج في قبة هناك- أمرت ببنائها أم الخليفة الإمام الناصر لدين الله رحمة الله عليها- وقد جاوز السبعين من عمره.
