١٢٧١ - عمر بن محمد بن محمد بن على الزينبي، أبو على بن أبى تمام: تقدم ذكر والده، ولى النقابة على الهاشميين والصلاة والخطبة في المساجد الجامعة، ولقب بالرضا ذى الفخرين، وسلم إليه العهد بذلك، وخلع عليه في يوم الخميس الثاني من جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وأربعين وأربعمائة ببيت النوبة، وزين له جميع البلد، وركب في الأسواق ونثر عليه الدنانير والدراهم، وتملك في ذى القعدة سنةخمسين وخمسمائة، وكان قد ركب مع رئيس الرؤساء والهاشميين والخدم ومن انضم إليهم من الأعاجم، وخرجوا إلى باب الحلبة لقتال البساسيرى فاسترحمهم ثم انعطف عليهم فانهزموا وهلك منهم خلق كثير- ذكر ذلك أبو الحسن الهمداني صاحب التاريخ.
