١٠٦٥ - علي بن يوسف، أبو الحسن ابن الذهبية الزاهد:هكذا سماه، ونسبه أبو الحسين محمد بن أبي يعلى بن الفراء في كتاب «الطبقات» ونقلته من خطه. أنبأنا أبو القاسم المؤدب، عن أبي غالب أحمد بن أبي علي بن البناء، أنبأنا والدي قراءة عليه في كتاب «طبقات الفقهاء» من جمعه قال: أبو الحسن ابن الذهبية الزاهد الحنبلي فشاهدته، وكان ورعا يخضب بالحناء. توفي يوم الجمعة لست بقين من ذي الحجة سنة ثلاث وعشرين وأربعمائة.
