    ٩٥٤ - علي بن المكرم بن هبة الله بن المكرم، أبو الحسن الصوفي: من أولاد المشايخ والمحدثين، حدث هو وأبوه وجده، سمع في صباه من أبي الفتح عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن شاتيل الدباس وغيره، وكان يكتب خطّا حسنا، وقد حدث باليسير، وسافر إلى نصيبين فأدركه أجله بها في أوائل شهر رمضان سنة عشرين وستمائة ودفن هناك، وما أظنه بلغ الخمسين.
