    ٩٤٩ - علي بن مقدحة، أبو الحسن المقرئ: من أهل دار القز، ذكره أبو الفضل محمد بن عبد العزيز بن المهدي الخطيب في مشيخته وقال: كان زاهدا، قرأت عليه القرآن، وكان يصوم دائما، وله غنيمات يقتات (¬٦) منها، وكانت حاله صالحة، خرج يوما وقد تحرج ظهره، فقيل له في ذلك، [فقال] (¬٧): حملت اللبن من باب الدار إلى الدار، فقيل: لو استدعيت دور جاري تحمله! فبكا ثم قال: لي نفس لو جوزتها على الحسك لكان ذلك قليلا لها- أنبأنا بهذا الكلام أبو طاهر العطار إذنا عن أبي علي محمد بن محمد بن عبد العزيز بن المهدي قال: سمعت أبي يقوله.
