٩٢٥ - علي بن مسعود بن أحمد بن المقرئ، أبو القاسم بن أبي البركات الحاجب: من ساكني قراح ابن رزين، كان من الحجاب الكبار بالديوان، وكان شيخا بهيّا مليح الهيئة جميلا، متدينا محبا لأهل الخير، سمع أحاديث الحسن بن عرفة بن أبي المعالي عبد الملك بن علي الهراسي ورواها عنه، سمع منه أبو عبد الله محمد بن سعيد الحافظ الواسطي، وقد سمعت منه في المفاوضة حكايات، ولم أكتب عنه شيئا من الحديث، وهو والد أحمد الذي قدمنا ذكره، توفي يوم الاثنين ثاني جمادى الآخرة سنة سبع عشرة وستمائة، ودفن من يومه بباب أبرز.
