٩٠٨ - علي بن محمد، أبو الحسن المطرز، المعروف بابن المزين: سمع أبا محمد الحسن بن محمد الخلال، وأبا الحسن علي بن عمر القزويني، وأبا إسحاق البرمكي وغيرهم وحدث باليسير. قرأت في كتاب أبي غالب شجاع بن فارس الذهلي بخطه قال: مات أبو الحسن علي بن محمد المطرز يعرف بابن المزين في يوم الأربعاء لليلتين بقيتا من المحرم سنة ثلاث وتسعين وأربعمائة.
