    ٨٧١ - علي بن محمد بن مرعول الصّيرفيّ، أبو الحسن البغدادي: كان يخلف قاضي القضاة أبا السائب على قضاء الشرقية، وخلف القاضي أبا القاسم علي بن محمد بن أبي الفهم التنوخي على أعمال من نواحي واسط وكورالأهواز، وكان من أعيان أصحاب أبي الحسن الكرخي، روى عنه: أبو الحسن محمد ابن محمد بن جعفر الأنباري الشاهد حكاية أوردناها في ترجمته في المحمدين، ورأيت نسبه مقيدا بخط أبي بكر الخطيب.
