٨٢٧ - علي بن محمد بن علي بن سديد، أبو الحسين الطبيب: من أهل المدائن، كان أديبا فاضلا، يقول الشعر، وله معرفة بالطب، ويعالج الناس، وكان دمثا طيب الأخلاق، مطبوعا متواضعا، كان يقدم علينا بغداد كثيرا، وقد علقت عنه شيئا من شعره بإفادة أبي عبد الله محمد بن سعيد الواسطي الحافظ برباط المأمونية، وبلغنا أنه توفي بالمدائن فجأة في العشر الآخر من شهر رمضان من سنة ست وستمائة، ولعله جاوز الستين.
