    ٦٥٣ - علي بن أحمد، أبو الحسين الأنباري: حكى عن يزيد بن هارون الواسطي، روي عنه نهشل بن دارم الدارمي. قرأت على أبي عبد الله الحنبلي بأصبهان عن محمد بن عبيد الله بن الحسن الحدّاد، أنبأنا يوسف بن محمد بن محمد بن محمد الفقيه [حدثنا] أبو عصمة نوح بن نصر بن محمد الفرغاني قال: سمعت الحافظ أبا عبد الله الحافظ الورّاق يقول: سمعت أبا الحسن عبد الله بن موسى السلامي البغدادي يقول: سمعت نهشل بن دارم يقول: سمعت أبا الحسين علي بن أحمد الأنباري يقول: قال يزيد بن هارون: لا يعجبني الصوفية رأيت منهم أخلاقا قبيحة، حسبك أن الناس كلهم يأكلون حتى يشبعون، وهم يأكلون حتى يفيض طعامهم بأجوافهم.
