    ٤٢١ - عثمان بن إدريس بن عبد الرحمن الكتامي، أبو عمرو الصوفي المواقيتي (¬١): من أهل المغرب، قدم بغداد واستوطنها إلى حين وفاته، وكانت له معرفة تامة بعلم النجوم والهيئة وعمل الأصطرلاب وآلات الفلك من الرخامات وموازين الشمس ومعرفة أوقات الليل والنهار، وله في ذلك مصنفات حسنة، قرأ عليه جماعة من أهل بغداد وانتفعوا به، وتوفي في جمادى الآخرة سنة ثمان وتسعين وخمسمائة.
