١٥٨٤- غلام الفصيح الأندلسي شاعر أديب، ادعى أنه عبيد الله بن المهديمحمد بن عبد الجبار ولم يصح، وإنما كان فيما قيل غلام الفصيح ولكنه أوهم جماعة، ومن شعره من كلمة طويلة: يا من يعذبني مستعذباً ألمي ... يكفيك ما قد يرى جسم من السقم حكمت لي بقضاء غير مقتصد ... تفديك نفسي من قاض ومن حكم يا قصر قرطبة هجت لي شجنا ... لما تأبدت بعد الكنس بالرئم معاهد عهدت فيها خلافتنا ... أكفها فوقه بالجود كالديم أيام للملك المهدي دولته ... فيها فقد أصبحت في الدهر كالحلم فإن أعش فسآتيه بذي شطب ... ومازن كشهاب النار مضطرم
