    ١٠٩٨- عبد العزيز بن موسى بن نصير مولى لخم كان والده في استخلفه على الأندلس عند خروجه منها سنة خمس وتسعين، فأقام واليها إلى أن كتب سليما بن عبد الملك إلى الجند هناك فقتلوه وأتوه برأسه، كذا قال أبو سعيد بن يونس، وكان قتله فيما قال عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله: أن الجند اجتمعوا على قتله لأمور نقموها منه وبلغتهم عنه، فثاروا به وقتلوه وخرجوا برأسه إلى سليمان بن عبد الملك، وأنه لما أحضر بن يدي سليمان حضر موسى بن نصير، فقال له سليمان: أتعرف هذا؟ قال: نعم أعرفه صواماً قواماً فعليه لعنة الله إن كان الذي قتله خيراً منه.
