٩٧٤ - عبيد الله بن يحيى بن إدريس، الوزير أبو عثمان كان وافر الأدب، وكثير الشعر جليلاً في أيام عبد الرحمن الناصر، ذكره أحمد بن فرج، وأنشد له: تخلت من الورد الأنيق حدائقه ... وبان حميد الأنس والعهد رائقه أقام كرجع الطرف لم يشف غلة ... ولم يرو مشتاق الجوانح شائقه فما كان إلا الطيف زار مسلماً ... فسر ملاقيه وسيئ مفارقه على الورد من إلف التصابي تحية ... وإن صدمت ألف التصابي علائقه ويهنى الخدود الناضرات انفرادها ... برود الحياء المستجد شقائقه
