٩٧٣- عبيد الله بن يحيى بن يحيى بن كثير الليثي، مولاهم أبو مروان يروى عن أبيه عن مالك بن أنس، وله رحلة دخل فيها العراق وسمع بها، روى عنه أحمد بن مطرف، وأحمد بن سعيد بن حزم الصدفي، وأبو عيسى بن عبد الله بن أبي عيسى، وأحمد بن محمد الرعيني، وأحمد بن ثابت التغلبي، وخليل بن إبراهيم وعبد الله بن محمد بن حنين المعروف بابن أخي ربيع، وأبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد البر صاحب التاريخين في الفقه والقضاء، ومات عبيد الله بالأندلس سنة سبع وتسعين ومائتين، وهو آخر من حدث عن يحيى بن يحيى.
