أيوب بن سليمان بن حكم بن عبد الله بن بلكايش بن إليان القوطي القرطبي، أبو سليمان. صحب بقي بن مخلد. وأكثر عنه. ورحل إلى العراق، فسمع من: إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي. وكان مجتهدًا لا يرى التقليد. وكان مع علمه شريفًا. وعلى يد جدهإليان دخل الإسلام الأندلس. روى عنه: ابنه سليمان (¬١). ٢٨١ -
