٨١- محمد بن الحسن أبو عبد الله المذحجي، يعرف بابن الكتاني له مشاركة قوية في علم الأدب والشعر، وله تقدم في علوم الطب والمنطق، وكلام في الحكم، ورسائل في كل ذلك، وكتب معروفة، وكتاب سماه وكتاب محمد وسعيدي، مليح في معناه، وعاش بعد الأربعمائة بمدة ومن شعره:ألا قد هجرنا واتصل الوصل ... وباتت ليالي البين واشتمل الشمل أضحى الفراق رفيقاً لي يواصلني ... بالبعد والشجو والأحزان والكمد وبالوجوه التي تبدو فأنشدها ... وقد وضعت على قلبي يدي بيدي إذا رأيت وجوه الطير قلت لها ... لا بارك الله في الغربان والصرد
