    ١٢٩٧ - مسعود بن الحسين بن هبة الله المقرئ أبو المظفر الضرير الحلي (¬٢):قدم بغداد في صباه وقرأ على أبي العز القلانسي القراءات لكنه خلط وادعى أنه قرأ على أبي طاهر بن سوار، فأنكر عليه أبو الحسن البطائحي وظهر بطلان قوله. قرأت بخط عمر بن علي القرشي قال: سألت مسعودا الحلي في أي سنة قرأت على أبي طاهر بن سوار؟ فقال: سنة ست وخمسمائة. تذكر أنك قرأت عليه بعد موته بعشر سنين. سمع منه عمر القرشي وعلي الزيدي وتوفي سنة أربع وستين وخمسمائة، في رجب وقد سمع من أبي القاسم بن بيان وأبي عثمان بن ملة.
