١١٥١ - علي بن المبارك بن الحسين بن عبد الوهاب بن نغوبا أبو الحسن الواسطي المعدل من بيت حديث: سمع أبا نعيم محمد بن إبراهيم الجماري وأبا نعيم بن زبزب وأبا الأزهر علي بن أحمد الكتاني وخميس (كذا) الحوزي وجماعة وببغداد عبد الوهاب الأنماطي وعبد الباقي بن أحمد النّرسيّ وجماعة وحدث بالكثير. سمع منه صدقة بن الحسين وأحمد بن صالح بن شافع وإبراهيم بن الشعار وعمر القرشي وأحمد بن طارق وابن الأخضر. قلت: وأبو محمد بن قدامة قال ابن مشّق: ولد سنة ست وثمانين وأربعمائة. قال المؤلف: وغرق في دجلة منحدرا إلى واسط في ذي القعدة سنة ثمان وستين وخمسمائة وأبوه من شيوخ الكندي.
