١٠٨٧ - علي بن أحمد بن علي الطيب أبو الحسن البغدادي يعرف بابن هبل (¬١): قرأ الأدب والطب وسمع إسماعيل بن السمرقندي واستوطن الموصل وحدث بها وعمّر. توفي في المحرم سنة عشر وستمائة وله خمس وتسعون سنة. قلت: روى عنه يوسف بن خليل والزكي والبرزالي وذكر أنه صنف كتابا في الطب وكان ضريرا من أذكى بني آدم وروى عنه النجيب عبد اللطيف.
