٩٨٩ - عبد الواحد بن علي بن محمد بن حمويه. الجويني أبو سعد بن أبي الحسن الصوفي أحد الشيوخ المعروفين: من بيت تصوّف وتقدّم، سمع وجيه بن طاهر وأبا الوقت وحج سنة ثمان وثمانين وخمسمائة فحدث ببغداد وسمع منه محمد بن أبي الوفاء النحوي وغيره. ولد سنة تسع وعشرين وخمسمائة، وخرج إلى الشام ثم قصد نيسابور توفي بالريّ سنة ثمان وثمانين. قلت: روى عنه يوسف بن خليل.
